Alba returned to the stage in November 2024 and February 2025 with Cinderella. Our initial journey began way back in 2014. Like The Nutcracker in 2014, Cinderella 2016 and Coppelia 2018 we had two performances at the The Beacon Arts Centre in Greenock. In addition to these performance we added a third performance at Barrfields in Largs. Then after a delay due to storms and snow in November we finally made it to Queens Hall Dunoon in February for a fourth and final performance of Cinderella.

The company comprised of 33 members which included our guest artist Peadar McIntyre who played the role of our lead male. The role of Cinderella was played by Niamh Young. Supported by her step mother and sisters played by Rebecca Jess, Dana O’Neill and Hannah Deary. The Step Father was played by Darsi McIntyre. Our final main character was Rebecca Maestri who played the part of the Fairy God Mother.

Once again we worked with  along with our sound and light team and created a stunning digital background for the dancers. The Dance School of Scotland, helped set the scene for our latest production of Cinderella with some stunning costumes.

We are delighted that the 21 members of the company will remain with us  for Coppelia 2026. We are looking forward to working with them over the next couple of years along with new members who will complete the company for our next big production.
