OUR APPROACH

Our goal and our passion has been to develop young dancers who show potential and are looking to a possible career in Dance. Students will be worked hard, and will need to show commitment in order to be able to move through the course.

JUNIOR SECTION

JUNIOR SECTION

Juniors start early on a Sunday morning for the four hour class, starting with a warm up and stretching class, then after a short break for lunch they continue with an intense class of Classical Ballet.

All students took part in group Ballet Audtions, prior to joining us.and have had previous Dance and Ballet experience. The section is fortunate to call on the exoerience of ex Associates of Scottish Ballet and Students who have completed Dance Degrees at University.

Elite Academy of Dance is Inverclyde’s only dedicated Royal Academy of Dance School of Classical Ballet. Classes are run most weekdays and at weekends, and we have classes for all ages and abilities.

More and more pensioners are taking up ballet, according to the Royal Academy of Dance. It is putting the phenomenon down to the popularity of TV programmes like Strictly Come Dancing. Inverclyde’s only Royal Academy of Dance, Classical Ballet Studio is now offering Ballet for Pensioners.
